Summary:
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all farm equipment including a terra gator.
Must be able to operate large pieces of equipment in a safe and effective manner, be able to self-perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot minor issues with the operating equipment.

Responsibilities:
Always operate equipment in a safe manner Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destination.
Serve as a company ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the equipment.
Perform shop clean up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup.
Maintain operation records.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Communication skills - verbal and written.
Ability to operate heavy or agricultural equipment in a safe manner.
Ability to perform basic math.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to follow directions.
EDUCATION &
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting, Climbing, Balancing, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Feeling, lifting to 50 lbs.

The employee is subject to hazards:
Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to bio-solids.
This position requires overtime.
Qualifications:
Operate heavy/agricultural equipment safely Verbal and Written Communication Ability to follow directions.
Ability to perform basic math.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operator work experience preferred.
Education:
High School or better.
